Background on this offering

Immersions are in-depth, highly interactive online experiences for individuals and teams to begin to learn and apply the Living Collective Wisdom® framework to their change work. They include:

  • Seven ½-day online sessions

  • Office hours with John and Rose for additional learning and application support

  • A comprehensive workbook to support participant learning and engagement

  • Access to online resources

What participants learn: Immersion participants are introduced to an array of concrete commitments and practices, including the following.

Leadership commitments and practices that help participants increase their individual effectiveness, and the effectiveness of their organizations–e.g., learning how to rebuild and strengthen trust with colleagues and partners, and heal the negative effects of past conflicts that may be impeding progress in their change efforts.

Commitments and practices, grounded in systems thinking, that help participants identify high leverage actions in support of organization, systems, and/or community change efforts.

Commitments and practices, grounded in community-building theory, that help foster relationships of mutuality, particularly among people who hold divergent, even polarized perspectives and different levels of formal authority. These commitments and practices are essential for embodying commitments to equity, inclusion and belonging.

A foundational process called Wisdom Dialogue© that helps participants more effectively use data to clearly define results, assess progress, and evolve strategies to improve and sustain positive impact.

Who this Immersion is for: Immersions help individuals learn how to integrate Living Collective Wisdom® into their ongoing work toward profound results. For our March 2024 Immersion, we are particularly encouraging people to enroll who want to learn both how to embody Living Collective Wisdom® and how to help others do the same.

At the end of this Immersion, we will follow up with each participant to explore your interest in signing up for our next offering, a 9-month Ally Intensive. An Ally Intensive integrates online sessions, an online learning community, 1:1 Ally Sessions, and an in-person gathering to help participants learn how to lead Immersions, facilitate Wisdom Dialogues, and/or provide 1:1 Ally Sessions, all grounded in Living Collective Wisdom®. Completing an Immersion is a pre-requisite for joining an Ally Intensive. Our next Ally Intensive is currently planned for fall of 2024.

Immersion participants who want to deepen their learning can also purchase a packet of 6 (six) confidential 1:1 Ally Sessions.
